• It is used for bonding XPS, EPS and rockwool thermal insulation boards in all buildings.

These values have been obtained as a result of laboratory experiments and are valid for the performance of the finished applications at the end of the full drying period. Values may vary due to differences in the construction site environment.

APPLICATION FEATURES

• Usable time of the prepared mortar: 3 hours.
• Application thickness: 4 mm.
• Applicable layer thickness: Max. 2mm.
• Time to wait between coats: 3-4 hours.

SURFACE PREPARATION

• The insulation board must be solid, well adhered to the underlying surface, clean and dry.
• The gaps between the boards should be filled with the same insulation material or foam according to the width, any protrusions that may occur should be cleaned to reduce the consumption of weber.therm SV .

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

• Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C.
• Avoid applying under the sun in very humid and/or very hot weather.
• It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or at risk of frost within 24 hours.

APPLICATION

• Average 6.5 lt. 25 kg of weber.therm SV should be mixed thoroughly with clean water, preferably with a low speed mixer or trowel so that there are no lumps.
• The mortar should be rested for 10 minutes before application.
• weber.therm SV should be applied to the surface with a steel trowel.
• Before weber.therm SV dries, the reinforcement mesh should be placed from top to bottom, by pressing and stretching well, without folding and equidistant from the entire surface on the insulation board.
• In order to prevent cracks, the reinforcement mesh is 10 cm. should be applied overlapping.
• Reinforcement mesh at least 20 cm in corners and in all beams, window and door frames. must be rotated.
• After 3-4 hours, the second layer should be applied. Before the application, the surface must be moistened again. After the application, the surface will be suitable for exterior cladding.

• The specified times are valid at 20°C surface and ambient temperature, the time is extended at low temperatures and shortened at high temperatures.

WARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS

• Dilatation joints should never be closed with weber.therm SV , a dilatation profile should be used for these sections.
