USE

APPLICATION AREA

  • It is used as a topcoat material on the exterior of all buildings and on exterior thermal insulation systems.

APPLICATION SURFACES

  • exteriors;
    - Cement-based plasters,
    - Gross concrete ( weber.tec R, weber.tec RK or weber.tec RM applied),
    - Gas concrete (aerated concrete plaster applied).

  • Consult us for all other application substrates.

APPLICATION LIMIT

  • It is not applied on horizontal and inclined surfaces below 45 degrees.
  • It is definitely not applied on wet and damp surfaces.

These values have been obtained as a result of laboratory experiments and are valid for the performance of the finished applications at the end of the full drying period. Values may change due to the difference in the construction site environment.

APPLICATION FEATURES

  • Drying time: 6-24 hours.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The surface must be clean, dry, smooth and solid.
  • The surfaces should be primed with weber.prim C 100 diluted at a ratio of 5/1 ( weber.prim C 100 / water) as a single layer, and weber.tex RLX sil applications should be started after at least 12 hours.
  • The weber.tec RM applied surfaces should be primed with weber.prim satin as a single layer without diluting, after drying (min 6 hours), the entire surface should be treated with weber.prim C 100 thinned at the rate of 5/1 ( weber.prim C 100 / water). The coat should be primed, and weber.tex RLX wipe applications should be started after at least 12 hours.
  • For better results, weber.prim C 100 suitable for the color of the weber.tex RLX sil to be applied should be used.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

  • Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C.
  • Application in very humid and/or very hot weather should be avoided.
  • It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or at risk of frost within 24 hours.

APPLICATION

  • Since drying will be quick in windy and hot weather, areas that can be finished in one step should be selected, taped and applied in series without interruption, taking into account the building aesthetics, so that there are no joints on large surfaces.
  • weber.tex RLX sil should be mixed thoroughly until it reaches a homogeneous consistency.
  • weber.tex RLX sil should be spread evenly over the entire surface with a roller or coral roller.
  • While weber.tex RLX sil is still wet, a pattern should be applied from top to bottom with a coral roller.
  • Before the application, the coral roll should be saturated with material.
  • In order not to spoil the pattern, care should be taken that the roll is not too full or dried out. For a different pattern, a roll in the fleece can also be used.
  • Before weber.tex RLX sil hardens, the adhesive tapes should be carefully removed.
  • The stated times are valid at 20 °C surface and ambient temperature, the time is extended at low temperatures and shortened at high temperatures.

WARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS

  • In order to avoid tonality differences, care should be taken to use products with the same CHARGE NUMBER and PRODUCTION DATE on each front.
  • In the rainy season, on rainy days or in case of rain after the application, the facade should be protected or the application should not be made.
  • When working in strong winds or under direct sun on very hot days, attention should be paid to the water setting, work should be done in series, large surfaces should be divided into sections with tapes or no application should be made.
  • Absolutely salt water, lime and similar foreign materials should not be added.
  • All tools used after the application should be washed with water before drying.
