USE

>FIELD OF APPLICATION

  • It is used as a concrete leveling mortar on the interior and exterior of all buildings.

>APPLICATION SURFACES

  • In interior and exterior facades;
    - Gross concrete.
  • Consult us for all other application substrates.

>SUITABLE FINISHING OPTIONS

  • As a top coat on weber.tec RK applied surfaces;
    Ready-made colored plasters, exterior coatings and paints, cement-based mortars and ceramic coatings can be applied.

APPLICATION LIMIT

  • It is not applied on plaster, ready-made colored plasters, paints and exterior coatings.

APPLICATION FEATURES

  • Usable time of the prepared mortar: 2 hours.
  • Time to wait for top coat application on weber.tec RK : Min. 8 days.
  • Application thickness: 5 - 20 mm.
  • Applicable layer thickness: Max. 10mm.
  • Time to wait between coats: 3 hours.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The surface must be free from mold oils, clean, sound and moist.
  • Before the application, the surface must be moistened and saturated with water in very hot and windy weather.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

  • Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C.
  • Application under strong wind or sun should be avoided.
  • It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or at risk of frost within 24 hours.

APPLICATION

MANUAL APPLICATION:

  • An average of 6 lt. per 25 kg bag of weber.tec RK . clean water should be added.
  • weber.tec RK should be mixed with a trowel or a low speed hand mixer until it reaches a homogeneous consistency. The mixture should be rested for 2 minutes before application.
  • weber.tec RK should be applied to the entire surface in equal thickness with the help of a steel trowel. If an application thicker than 10 mm is required, the second layer should be applied after 3 hours. Total thickness should not exceed 20 mm.
  • After at least 2 hours, the surface should be polished and a damp sponge should be used for very smooth surfaces. After the application, the surface will be suitable for paint and exterior coating. After the application, the surface should be moistened for 2-3 days.

APPLICATION WITH THE MACHINE:

  • Average 6 lt for a 25 kg bag. clean water should be added and mixed for 10-15 minutes.
  • The specified times are valid at 20°C surface and ambient temperature, the time is extended at low temperatures and shortened at high temperatures.

APPLICATION TOOLS

Plastering machine, steel trowel, hand mixer, gauge, sponge, finishing trowel.
