USE

>FIELD OF APPLICATION

  • It is used as a primer in order to increase the surface adherence before ceramic bonding mortars in all renovations.

>APPLICATION SURFACES

  • Indoor and outdoor wall;
    - All kinds of ceramic coating,
    - Painted surfaces (acrylic or alkyd based).
  • Indoor and outdoor floor;
    - All kinds of ceramic coatings
    - Hard vinyl floors
    - Wood
  • Consult us for all other application substrates.

APPLICATION LIMIT

  • It is not applied on gypsum plaster, gypsum board and gypsum block.
  • It is not applied on constantly wet and damp surfaces.

APPLICATION FEATURES

  • Time to wait for ceramic application on weber.prim TG 5 : min. 4 hours.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The surface must be clean, dry, smooth and solid.
  • Plaster, paint, glue, oil, cement residues on the surface should be completely cleaned.
  • The surface should be washed with water and left to dry.
  • Varnish, wax and similar residues on wooden and parquet surfaces should be cleaned by scraping or even scraping. The surface should be cleaned of dust.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

  • Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C.
  • Application in very humid and/or very hot weather should be avoided.
  • The surface must be completely dry.

APPLICATION

  • weber.prim TG 5 is mixed until it becomes homogeneous without thinning.
  • weber.prim TG 5 should be applied to the entire surface in equal thickness with a roller or brush on the fleece.
  • The specified times are valid at 20 °C surface and ambient temperature, the time is extended at low temperatures and shortened at high temperatures.

WARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS

  • All tools used after the application should be washed with water before drying.
  • Absolutely no foreign materials should be added.
  • In order to preserve the surface adherence that weber.prim TG 5 will provide, care must be taken not to get dirty during the application.
  • Skin contact should be avoided and gloves should be used during application.
