• It is not applied in places that are exposed to high pressure (>100 bar) and chemicals and require hygiene.

• It is not applied on floors that are prone to deformation, such as floors with underfloor heating ( weber.joint HR flex or weber.joint flex should be used).

These values have been obtained as a result of laboratory experiments and are valid for the performance of the finished applications after 28 days. Values may change due to the difference in the construction site environment.

APPLICATION FEATURES

• Usable time: Max. 1 hour
  
• Complete curing time: 12 hours.
  
• Time required for the ground to be opened to traffic: 24-48 hours.

SURFACE PREPARATION

• In order to provide a homogeneous drying, dust, sawdust, construction cement residues, etc. that may be found between the joint gaps, before joint application, should be removed. It should be scraped off using a thin stick and cleaned with a brush.
• Especially on walls, joint gaps should be moistened before application.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

• Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C.
• It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or at risk of frost within 24 hours.
• It should not be applied under direct sun, strong wind or on hot surfaces.

APPLICATION

• Average 5.6-6.6 liters of water and 20 kg of weber.joint DÇM should be mixed thoroughly, preferably with a low-speed mixer or trowel so that there are no lumps.
• After weber.joint DÇM is rested for 10 minutes, it should be mixed for 1-2 minutes before application.

• The mortar should be filled into the joint gaps with a hard rubber-tipped squeegee or a hard rubber-based joint spreading trowel.

• In order to fill the gaps well, it should be drawn first parallel and then diagonally.

• The excess of the mortar on the surface should be scraped off with a soft-tipped spatula or dampened sponge-tipped spatula, waited for 15-30 minutes depending on the ambient temperature, then wiped with a damp sponge and the thin joint layer that may remain on the surface should be thoroughly cleaned.

• Surface smoothing and cleaning should be done with the help of a dry cloth when weber.joint DÇM is wet.

• The specified times are valid at 20 °C surface and ambient temperature, the time is extended at low temperatures and shortened at high temperatures.

APPLICATION TOOLS

Hand mixer, trowel, rubber tipped trowel, sponge tipped trowel, squeegee, sponge, brush.

WARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS

• In order to achieve high performance, it is recommended to moisten the application area with water the next day.
• All tools used after the application should be washed with water before drying.
• Soaking the ceramics in water before application should be avoided, as it may cause yellowing in white and light-colored joint fillers.
