• It is used for laying ceramic, tile, terracotta and similar covering materials, indoors and outdoors, on the wall.

• Not applicable on metal surfaces ( weber EP 800 should be used).
• It is not applied on interior and exterior floors.
• It is not applied in constantly wet places such as pools.
• It is not applied on uneven floors.

• Initial shear bond strength: ≥ 1 N/mm 2
• Adhesion strength after immersion in water: ≥0.5 N/mm 2
• Shear shear strength after heat aging: ≥1 N/mm 2

• Heat resistance: -20°C to +80°C.

These values have been obtained as a result of laboratory experiments and are valid for the performance of the finished applications after 28 days. Values may change due to the difference in the construction site environment.

APPLICATION FEATURES

• Working time: Max. 30 minutes.
• Fixable time: Max. 20 minutes.
• Time required for joint application: Min. 24 hours.
• Complete hardening time: 8-15 days.
• Application thickness: 1-4 mm. between (single or double-sided gluing).

SURFACE PREPARATION

• The surface must be clean, smooth and solid, loose plaster, oil, paint, varnish etc. on the surface. should be cleaned and dusted.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

• Ambient temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C.
• It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or at risk of frost within 24 hours.
• It should not be applied under direct sun, strong wind or on hot surfaces.
• During the application, care should be taken that weber.kol fix does not form a film on the surface, if a film is formed, that part should be combed again.

APPLICATION

• Before use, weber.kol fix should be mixed well to facilitate spreading.

• The mortar should be applied to the surface and its thickness should be adjusted with a toothed steel trowel. The tooth size of the trowel should be determined according to the size of the ceramic to be laid and the smoothness of the surface to be applied.

• For ceramics of the following dimensions, mortar should be applied both on the surface to be applied and on the back of the ceramic (double-sided bonding).

• Indoor, wall applications:
  Granite ceramic, natural composite stone etc. for 120 cm 2 , ceramics, tiles etc. for ceramics larger than 900 cm 2 .
• In all outdoor wall applications.

• For a good adhesion, the air should be expelled by applying force with the help of a rubber hammer.
• In applications, the size of the coating is as important as its weight.

• The specified times are valid at 20 °C surface and ambient temperature, the time is extended at low temperatures and shortened at high temperatures.

Trowel, rubber hammer, toothed steel trowel.

WARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS

• Absolutely no foreign materials should be added.
• All tools used after the application should be washed with water before drying.
